The Victor Volunteer Fire Department has served with pride since 1894. The Fire Chief is appointed by City Council and is responsible for the training of volunteer firefighters and maintenance of all City fire equipment and facilities.
The City has a team of dedicated volunteers of between 12 and 20 members. These volunteers take time from their personal lives to insure the protection of the lives and property of Victor citizens.
This department is funded with your tax dollars and, in addition, this dedicated group of men and women conduct numerous fundraisers throughout the year to acquire equipment to enhance the safety of their members.
The mission of the Victor Volunteer Fire Department is to maintain a highly trained, professional organization providing excellent service to our community, region and other agencies, when called upon, through Duty Honor & Respect.
