What better venue for a burro race than Victor CO, steeped in gold mining history! This nearly 11 mile route was devised by Gary Horton, a local to the area and instrumental in helping to bring a burro race back to Victor. It includes some climbs, fantastic views, and historic structures galore! The map provides the race route with approximate mile markers. Below the map is elevation data. Two aid/water stations will be located on the course.
Cash prize money will be awarded through 10th place.
1st Place Overall ¼ ounce gold coin ($300 value) + $250
2nd 1 ounce silver coin ($20 value) + $200
Coins provided by Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Company, www.ccvgoldmine.com
Each coin is actually made with Victor gold and silver!
All racing burros will be entered into a “Nicest Ass” drawing. One male and one female name will be drawn and each winner’s human running partner will receive $100.
