Attention Residents, Business Owners, and Those Employed within the Vibrant City of Victor:
An opportunity is on the horizon and it’s one you do not want to miss. Victor Main Street is seeking interested individuals to serve on the Commission! The Commission will begin planning for 2020 projects within our Downtown as we enter the New Year.
Appropriate candidates will be willing and excited to work closely with Victor’s City Council recommending feasible ideas regarding:
- Organization of our community toward common goals, with Downtown improvement and reactivation in mind.
- The design of an inviting atmosphere in the Downtown areas, which are aesthetically pleasing and unique to Victor.
- Healthy promotion of the opportunities within Victor, especially the Downtown.
- Economic restructuring of the Downtown, with emphasis on filling unused spaces with creative enterprises; helping existing businesses to upgrade their productivity; and recruiting new entrepreneurs to bolster local economy.
The Commission meets once monthly, usually on the 3rd Thursday of the month. Candidates should be consistent in their availability for these monthly meetings, as well as willing and enthusiastic about volunteering for events throughout the year.
