We understand that it can be a challenge to get rid of mattresses now that many trash service companies no longer accept them. Over the last 3 weeks, 4 mattresses have been dumped on public right of way. Unfortunately, the disposal takes place at tax payers’ expense.
Sec. 7-2-130. – Junk and litter.
- It is unlawful for any person to deposit, throw or leave any refuse, litter or junk on any public or private property or in any waters controlled by the City.
Please take your old mattresses to the transfer station in Cripple Creek. Their fee is $35 for the disposal
